The EMR course is delivered over the course of 10 days totalling 80-120 hrs. Please register for the start date, understanding that attendance is required for all class dates.
Prerequisites
Participant must be certified in Standard First Aid with CPR level C.
Course Overview
9:00am - 5:00pm
- This course provides the knowledge and skills necessary in an emergency to help sustain life, reduce pain, and minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness in a pre-hospital setting.
- Targets those providing emergency response: firefighters, law-enforcement officers, emergency medical services personnel, and workplace responders.
- Meets the Paramedic Association of Canada National Occupational Competency Profile for the practitioner level of the emergency medical responder (EMR).
