The First Responder course is delivered over the course of 40 hrs. Please register for the start date, understanding that attendance is required for all class dates (flexible scheduling options available).
Course Overview
8:00am - 5:00pm
- Pre-hospital care and CPR skills for professional first responders or those wanting to become first responders.
- Course teaches techniques for sustaining life, preventing further injuries, and caring for illnesses and injuries until the next level of medical personnel arrives.
- Includes CPR level HCP and AED.

Prerequisites
Standard First Aid with CPR Level C; pre-course assignment
Completion Requirements
100% attendance, skills demonstration, two evaluated scenarios, and 75% min. passing grade on a written exam
Certification
3 year certification in First Responder (digital certificate issued upon successful completion)
